Ross Engineering Corporation, located in the
heart of the Silicon Valley, was founded in 1964 by Hugh Ross. Ross products are designed with our customer's needs in mind.
As part of this continual commitment to customer satisfaction, on March
6, 2008, Ross Engineering became an ISO 9001:2000 certified company by
completing a registration audit conducted by BSI Management Systems
America, Inc.
It is
the policy of Ross Engineering that there will be no compromise where
quality, performance and customer satisfaction are concerned. We are
committed to building quality partnerships with our customers by
consistently providing advanced design solutions, quality products,
superior calibration services and on-time delivery through the
continuous improvement of our Manufacturing and Laboratory Operations
Management System.
Our engineers take great pride in their work,
with many years of experience designing products used by over 2,000
manufacturers, utilities, laboratories and industrial plants. Some
of our customers include: General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, IBM,
Varian and Raytheon. Many of our products are also used in defense
applications. Our high voltage relays, switches, voltmeters and voltage
dividers are assembled with the highest regard to quality and
workmanship. Our manufacturing process observes strict Military
specifications, quality control policy to Mil-I-45208 and the
requirements set forth in the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Our Quality Management System makes sure to maintain
every phase of the manufacturing process from the receipt of materials to
the delivery of the finished product.
Our High Voltage Calibration and Test Lab uses the
most advanced testing equipment for calibration to NIST (National
Institute of Standards and Technology) and conducts difficult
reliability tests on all our high voltage devices. In this facility, we test and
calibrate high voltage relays, high voltage dividers, high voltage probes, spark gaps, our fiber optic
systems, high voltage digital and analog voltmeters up to 1,000,000 volts.
Ross Engineering maintains a steady
inventory of parts for all Ross Products. Our inventory department
orders raw materials and components for our in house machine shop and all
assembly departments. With 22,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and
its own in-house machine shop, Ross can maintain sufficient parts needed
to fill most orders and meet our shipping schedules on time. Most of
Ross proprietary products are available as off the shelf or up to 8 week
delivery items. We also design devices to meet our customers special
applications when necessary.
It was apparent to Hugh Ross when founding
Ross Engineering that reliability in machined parts was essential to a
quality product. To ensure top quality we developed our own machine
shop division to make our parts. With our expanded in house machine
shop and large inventory, we are able to deliver both standard and special
units in shorter time. |
